Class A Shay....
In the early days of logging lokes an outfit might not have enough revenue to merit buying an entire locomotive. Often times the owner
would purchase parts- cylinders, driveline and trucks then add their own body and boiler to build a backwoods steam monster.

This Locomotive was built from a Bachmann Ely Thomas Two-truck, three-cylinder Shay. I cut down the cylinders, shortened the driveline
and used an Ozark Miniatures boiler. The unit has a Sierra sound system, operating firebox and headlight. It even has a classic Shay
wobble while running.
