Scratch built water tower at Grizzly Flats

Floyd is seen here preparing to pull the spout down to put water in 4-6-0 #12

Here is a pattern I used to make the roof, cut out of a thin piece of aluminum
Then I applied corrugated aluminum, the most reasonable source for the corrugated tin is, Beer/Soda cans heated on your Bar-B-Q...and a "Fiskars paper crimper" for less than 10 bucks from a kraft store....
George Schreyer has a nice artical on it's use Quick and Dirty Crimping
MLS'er Lawrence "Yogi" Wallace's has a great how-to, Making Aluminum Siding and Trim.
