Roughing it !

This is our home away from home

This is how we rough it when we go camping...

Our "Silver Eagle"
Our 1962 Silver Eagle began it's life as Contintal Trailways bus on the highway's of Texas. We purchased it in 1977. Our children thought Mom & Dad had lost their minds but the large luggage area being big enough to carry 2 Jet Skis and 2 motorcycles quickly won them over. We used it right from the beginning and the children and now grandchildren have enjoyed many miles of travel in the "BUS". We did the conversion ourselves, it is done in an antique motif with solid walnut cabinets, built-in pantry, large wardrobes, tile counters in the kitchen and bath, a sunken tub, a crystal chandler, queen bed, many antiques, and although we can seat 14 in the living room it only sleeps four (any others have to use sleeping bags on the floor). It is probably 90% done, but we have trouble getting that last 10% finished because we are to busy enjoying our "Silver eagle". Currently we are redoing some of the original conversion and are probably going to have to resign ourselves to the fact that we always have 10%, left to do....
