Martin's Spur 80, part 8

Martin has nearly finished his Denver South Park Mason #44, the first of 3 Masons (the other two are not too far behind). This is the powered version in 1:11.25 scale, the other two will be free wheeling, museum models. He has been building the Masons from the masterclass as a teaching excersise. I think this is about the most remarkable model of a Mason I've ever seen, and what a ride it has been watching Martin putting these together over the last 2 years. Every part has to be hand made to shape, nothing is bent to shape, including the pipes, rock guards etc. The Mason is complete from the outside and is now a running model. All that remains is the internal cab detailing. Here is Martin's fantastic Mason Bogie #44, circa late 1883:

Thanks so much for being a part of this class Masrtin. You've shown us something totally different and totally amazing, and I've earned a great friend.
